This Privacy Policy explains how the Wedding Dress: AI Try-On mobile application (the “App”), operated by Gelinlik Dergisi (a Türksem company, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. What the App does
The App helps you find your ideal wedding gown. You can browse thousands of designer dresses, answer a short style quiz, save favourites, build boards to share with loved ones, and create an AI “try-on” image that shows you wearing a gown, all in one place.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture to create and secure your account.
Photos you upload. To create your virtual try-on, you may provide a photo of yourself. This photo is used solely to generate your try-on image. It is processed temporarily and is not stored on our servers, it is deleted automatically as soon as your image is produced. We never use your photos to train any model, and we never share them for advertising.
Style and fit data. Your quiz answers, style preferences (the gowns you like or skip), optional body measurements, favourites and boards are stored to power your personalised recommendations.
Usage and device data. We collect basic, non-identifying information about how the App is used, to keep the service reliable and to improve it.
3. Your try-on image stays with you
The bridal image our AI creates is returned only to you, inside the App. If you choose to keep it, you save it to your own phone's gallery, it lives on your device, not on our servers. We do not keep a copy of your generated image.
4. How your photo is processed
Your try-on is produced by our own AI image system together with trusted infrastructure providers acting strictly on our behalf and under confidentiality. Your photo is transmitted securely, used only to generate your requested image, and discarded immediately afterwards.
5. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the App: with Google for sign-in; with the service providers that host our systems and perform image processing on our behalf; and where required by law. We never sell your personal data. When you choose to share a board, the gowns on that board (and anonymous votes) become visible to anyone who has the link.
6. Data retention and deletion
Uploaded photos are kept only for the brief moment needed to generate your try-on, then deleted. Your account and profile data are retained while your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App, or by emailing us at [email protected].
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your information safe.
8. Children
The App is intended for adults (18+) planning a wedding and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. International users
The App is available worldwide. By using it, you understand your information may be processed in countries other than your own, always under the protections described here.
